LTP 1 & 2

LTP 1 & 2

  • All games start at 6:00pm with the first 30 minutes reserved for learn to play activities. LTP activities will be implemented in a flexible fashion and will be directed by individual team coaches. This is followed by a 30 minute game.

  • No game may go beyond 7:00pm except to finish an inning.

  • All players will appear on the batting order (whether they are in the field defensively or not). Eg. if 12 players show up for a game, all 12 go on the batting order and bat in turn.

  • An offensive inning consists of once around the lineup. All players will bat in each inning.

  • There are unlimited defensive substitutions, ie. defensive players can rotate into the game at anytime. However, the batting order cannot be changed.

  • Lead off is not permitted - runner may only advance on a hit ball.

  • Baseline distance - 45 feet.

  • Each player hits from the batting tee until he/she hits a fair ball. There are no strike-outs or walks.

  • Players are required to wear a batting helmet, when batting and/or running.

  • The final batter of the inning must be announced as such to the opposing coach who will advise the defensive team. After the last batter completes a turn at bat, play is stopped when the ball is held at home plate by any defensive player.

  • The Official Ball will be the 11" Indoor Flexiballs.
